Library 2.0

This network is for Library 2.0 Stuff

Has anyone else used ProfileFly? It's a social networking aggregator, allowing you to put links to multiple blogs, social networks, and other points of contact in one place with an easy-to-remember URL. Mine is, naturally, http://profilefly.com/yoyology. I've been really impressed!

There's actually quite a few of these type of lifestreaming aggregators

Friendfeed
is most famous.

They typically allow you to import services from various web 2.0 accounts and display all updates from them in one page.

They also typically allow you to produce a card/profile widget of some kind that you can put on your blog etc. showing all the services you are on.

If you like such services try

http://profilactic.com/sites.jsp
http://www.retaggr.com/
http://pulse.plaxo.com/

etc.See partial list here

Even Google profiles got into the act

For libraries on several web 2.0 services (think youtube, flickr, delicious, etc), such lifestreaming aggregators are natural fits.

I blogged about libraries using such services a while back

Libraries on Friendfeed
Libraries on Google profiles
