I am putting together a presentation titled "Given recent advances in technology, what opportunities do you see for on-line libraries of the future?"

Got any ideas on specifics that should be included?

User customization, baby! And maybe things like using social software to manage scholarly journals, conduct peer review, etc.

Include some library 2.0 sites that are already available such as librarything.com and the fact that many libraries are putting up a squidoo lens.
