Library 2.0

This network is for Library 2.0 Stuff

A neuroscientist suggest that multitasking is connected to our brain’s craving for novelty. The more it is fed, the greater the craving. This has implications for the productivity of Library 2.0 librarians and Web 2.0 junkies. I personally have found this to be the case in dealing with gadgets and experimenting with new Web 2.0 platforms. The more I experiment, the harder it becomes to stay on task for more "normal" library duties. But like suggested in the article, I can obstain for a time and get myself back on track. Fascinating breakthrough information for a gadget and Web 2.0 junkie like myself. I elaborate more in my blog where I link to the article.http://thisthatotherthing.wordpress.com/2009/10/28/multitasking-is-...
