Cataloging in Sharepoint?
Hi everyone!
We are about to implement Sharepoint in our company and, as I also have to change our catalog, I was wondering if you guys knew if there was a function in Sharepoint that would serve as a library catalog (we have many different type of documents including paper, electronic, and maps). The Sharepoint world is still obscure for me, so any help is very welcome!

Hello,
Your post interested me as I am in a similar situation. Have you heard anything about using Sharepoint apps for a catalog of holdings? I see that there is something that could be used related to circulating materials (Lending Library http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=5807b5ef-5...) , but I was wondering more about a database structured to utilize MARC records. Have you created a catalog? Thanks for any information!
