Hi Alison,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

Sincerely,
Mike McQueen

Hi Alison, would you like to participate in the Library 2.0 Member survey I created for my Research Methods class?! It's not very long, and is mostly demographic and interest information. If you do, I would appreciate any comments you have about how I could improve it. Thanks, Julie

Alison,

Thanks for the invitation! And thanks for joining us in the Creative Librarian group.

You want weather? It's around 9:30 A.M. here and it's 26.6C. Moist. Muggy. At least the Love Bug clouds are gone for a few months.

Always wanted to experience a real winter...though I almost had second thoughts when I was there in March and temps hit a max of 6C :)

I'm mainly an England support, though if any of the England Team are playing County cricket I'll pay attention. I also keep up-to-date with Hampshire, as they're my local team. And hopefully I'll be at the Rose Bowl for some twenty20 this month.

Who do you support?

Hm, I think England might just have remembered! Helps having our amazing Captain back!

17C!? You poor things, how will you cope? I think that's what we've got over here - and it's *summer*! Are you sure you want to come over here?

You mean when England remember how to play ;-) You can keep Warney and Sydney is mostly sunny at the moment too. Though now that winter is here, temps are getting down to a chilly 17 C during the day..and 10 at night! :P

Not without McGrath and Warne!

Speaking of which, Warne is playing at our lovely Rose Bowl here in sunny Hampshire. I'd love to go to Sydney - maybe when England are next over there defending the Ashes! ;-)

For ever :P I live in a tiny place called Sydney...a place called Newtown for those that know the area. Suits me well enough with decent coffee in walking distance. How's life in Hampshire ? Haven't made it south of London yet :(

Where in Australia are you?
