- About Me:
- I'm an adult services librarian at the central branch of a large public library system. Two of my major responsibilities include managing our centralized telephone reference service, and serving as the electronic resources librarian for the system.
I got my degree from the University of Hawaii when the only computer on campus kept track of students' courses and grades, and OCLC was being watched very carefully as an innovative experiment in union catalogs in Ohio. Dialog did not exist.
I'm interested in technology, library services to remote users, handicrafts, and Hawaiian music - especially slack key.

Bloggers - Advice Needed
My branch is thinking about starting a blog that the public can see, and adding a link to it from our page on the library system's site. We've been reading about laws relating to bloggers, and wondered if anyone in this network has decided to use a free service like blogger? Or, if not, which blogging software you decided to purchase/download?
