I've heard a lot of medical librarians are using healthfinder.gov. They're supposed to have a really great flash tutorial (http://www.healthfinder.gov/tutorial/default.asp#librarian) for librarians and they're also on Twitter, @healthfinder

I am currently an MLS student about to complete my degree this August. I am completing a practicum this summer and as part of my project I am looking at libraries' presence on the web. I am especially interested in medical libraries on the web.

I'm taking all of my classes online, but I am based in the DFW area... Dr. Huber is my adviser and he is focused on the health science side of things, as am I. I'm not sure how long he has been there... I also really enjoyed Dr. Akin's classes. Did you study with either?
Hi, I've been an Information Librarian for about 1 year now. Here we are all trying to 'get our heads around' web 2.0. We are trying out different ways of incorporating RSS to get more dynamic 'push' information out to our students including videocasts of information training material. I think health libraries are a good place to be as there seems to be alot of drive to incorporate new developments. Good luck with completing your course and with your new post!
