Profile Information

Name of Your Library:
Land O'Lakes Public Library
About Me:
I am a recent LIS graduate from the University of South Florida. Having focused on children's services in graduate school, I am now the Youth Services Librarian for the Land O'Lakes Library which is part of the Pasco County Library Cooperative.

My hobbies are dancing, singing (to the car radio & kareoke tracks), and drawing, all done when not reading or preparing for a program. Now that I'm done with grad school I plan to return to flamenco - that's FLA - MEN - CO, not FLA - MIN - GO dancing. (All though I am rather good in the balancing on one leg department.) Hence the choice in icon.

What is Your Interest in Library 2.0 (not yes or no)
As a new children's librarian I would like to create a space for those who are passionate about youth services in the public library arena.

Pulling all nighter's during grad s

Check out the Groups page. There is a group for Youth Services Librarians. In addition to reading some posts by others who share your passion, you may find ideas there for our presentation in February.
