I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
Sincerely,
Mike McQueen

I don't remember if I sent you a link to Ellyssa's blog which I really like. http://infotangle.blogsome.com/
I also heard one of her podcasts somewhere which was also good.
I haven't been keeping up with library 2.0 lately since I am quite busy at the good old library 1.0.

Congrats on passing comps! How bad were they?
I am attempting to learn everything there is to know at the library. It is quiet right now but, that is good since it gives me time to get acquainted.
I will be working with faculty and students, doing collection development, and other misc. things. I am sure there is more to the job description but that is it for now.
Good luck on the job search-
Karen K.
Am looking forward to more social networking. I think it has great potential for law libraries.

None of the classes I have taken in library school explicitly addressed Library 2.0, but I read about it in a professional journal so I am wanting to learn more.
I opened a new account (to change my Ning ID) so my friends all disapeared.
Thanks for the invitation.
