Name of Your Library:

About Me:
Weblogger since december 2005. I work as manager in the Dutch Haarlem public library trying to bridge the gap between knowledge competences and social competences which combination is in my view an important precondition for surviving in the growing complexity of our knowledge society.

What is Your Interest in Library 2.0 (not yes or no)
I'm also member of the Dutch Bibliotheek 2.0 community. Library 2.0 is a wordwide way of thinking. Much of my personal 2.0 inspiration I get from examples in de US. I'm trying to introduce some 2.0 projects in Haarlem at the moment.

Hi Jan,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

Sincerely,
Mike McQueen

Hi Jan, would you like to participate in the Library 2.0 Member survey I created for my Research Methods class?! It's not very long, and is mostly demographic and interest information. If you do, I would appreciate any comments you have about how I could improve it. Thanks, Julie
