Kevin,

Would be available to talk by phone this week about the great things you are doing in the Florida libraries? I am working with public librarians in Indiana next week, and I'd love to get your input and advice.

Thanks! My e-mail is jreed@sgis.org.

Hi Kevin, I hope you are doing well. I've been under the weather (had surgery Dec. 31) but am almost normal again. Our new building project that was axed by the mayor last year might be back on the table. There is a mall renovation project planned, and the new library might be located there. I'll keep you posted on the project if/when it progresses. What's new with you?

Wow, looks like you have some commentary in the paper once again, too. What is this, 47 times in a month?

Kevin! Thanks for the Suncoast News comment. Congrats on your FRONT PAGE article in the Floridian section the other day! That picture made you look like the King of the Librarians. Here's a link to the article text.

What is Your Interest in Library 2.0 (not yes or no)
I recently came across a phrase that stuck in my mind: technologically savvy but relationally inept. I'm interested in discovering ways to make sure that that doesn't end up being how this current generation is described in the history books. So, I guess I'm interested in the human side of the 2.0 technology more than anything else; I prefer wetware to software. (I like to think of myself as job security for all of you techies out there.)
