Universal Design for Instruction

After spending a week at a Disabilities Studies Institute, I think I'm going to begin research on UDL as it relates to social networking technologies. For example, UDL proposes that the instructional environment promotes interaction and communication among students and between students and faculty--chat reference is one to one instruction--the wiki/blog/socnet offers a more interactive venue. Anybody want to work on an article with me?

Hi Mary,

Thanks for the invite. I'm always amazed at how many Ohio State alum I run into. It seems we are our own nation. Kent State was also one of the schools I was looking at for undergrad. Where is the Geauga campus located?

We have people using blogs and creating instructional modules using various social networking tools. I have used wikis to work on collaborative projects since KSU is an 8 campus library system and sucj tools faciliatate great productivity.
