Hi Brian,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

Sincerely,
Mike McQueen

Hi Brian, would you like to participate in the Library 2.0 Member survey I created for my Research Methods class?! It's not very long, and is mostly demographic and interest information. If you do, I would appreciate any comments you have about how I could improve it. Thanks, Julie

Hello Brian. Thank you for the invitation. It is nice of you to share your connection to my part of the world! Also the Mt. St. Benedicy Monastery is quite well known all over Trinidad and Tobago and so is your uncle. Best wishes to you.

There is a very large retirement community (20,000 population) adjacent to my library. This makes me more aware of older adult issues. There is a clear digital divide - fewer older adults use computers and the internet. This is becoming more of a problem since many government and health care resources are online (such as Medicare D information). As the baby Boomers age, there should be an increase in the use of computers by older adults.

Hi Brian. I am surprised there aren't other MPLA folk. Perhaps we need a note in the newsletter. I'm not going to ALA this year. Travel budget is non-existent.

Perhaps we'll run into each at a LITA event in DC.
