Hi Gary
During a recent trawl of UK public libraries and their Web 2.0 level of activity, the only one I can remember seeing mention ebooks was Newcastle Public Libraries
Hope that helps.

Hi Adrian

Hi Sarah,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
Haven't checked here for a while - useful to see the list of blogs!
If anyone's interested I'm about to submit my own dissertation on UK public libraries and social software. If anybody would like a copy I'd be happy to send one over.
I was interested to read this strand. I've just done an article about library 2.0, and it struck me that the US were far ahead of the UK. I attach a copy of the article, which is to be published on the web pages of Emerald, the publisher of library journals - http://info.emeraldinsight.com/librarians/index.htm.
For this article, I started writing to a selection of UK public libraries, and they certainly seemed either behind or else not to have thought of library 2.0. Like other commentators, I would be very interested in seeing the results of the survey.
I see there's another librarian out there doing a similar MSc thesis to me - look forward to comparing our results! I'm just planning a couple of follow-up interviews and writing up at the moment - certainly a subject I'm very interested in.
I am a librarian and I am doing a research on public libraries and blogs. I saw that you are doing a survey of attitudes to Library 2.0 by public libraries and public librarians. Could you give me more information about this? Could you give me access to your survey so I can see how I can do it?
Hi Sarah
I hope you don't mind but I've used your delicious list of public library blogs to create a Google map. I thought it would be interesting to see the geographical distribution and also a fun way to list libraries getting into the web 2.0 world. Maybe a way to find out if neighbouring libraries are getting up to something interesting?
It should be viewable here http://tinyurl.com/6f7kwr
Hi Sarah
You've left a comment on our blog at http://www.wcl.govt.nz/blog asking librarians to answer your survey. I clicked on the link and found that you're only surveying UK librarians?
If you are wanting to survey NZ librarians also, I can point you to some email lists.
Hi!
I'm very interested in using our tech savvy to provide a better, more personalised service for library patrons. To that end I am currently conducting a survey of attitudes to Library 2.0 by public libraries and public librarians. I will very happily share the results with all who are interested. In the meantime if you and/or your colleagues in any public library, anywhere in the world, would like to swell my data then please follow this link and earn my undying gratitude (I'm doing this as part of my master's degree but intend to keep plugging away at the topic for the whole of my future career too!)
Studying for my MA in Librarianship at the University of Sheffield, UK after working for 3 years at the National Railway Museum library and archive in York, UK.
What is Your Interest in Library 2.0 (not yes or no)
Doing my dissertation on public library's engagement with Library 2.0. Why do the US do it so well? Why is UK lagging behind? Looking for as many examples of UK public libraries who are engaging with any aspect of Library 2.0 but especially those who use a blog as a method of communicating with patrons.
