I have been in the library field since 1966 in one capacity or another. Got my library degree in 1989 at the University of Arizona. Since then I have worked as a systems librarian at various academic libraries on the East coast. Lately I have been busy with a digitization project in Irish history.
I teach library school part time and this topic is very hot. Also after 10 years of doing things like running online discussions, I'm happy to see that there is a name for what I do.
