Hi Brian,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
Wow! Thanks a lot for that great offer of letting me be a guest blogger on ur blog! And yes I would really like to do that! As a matter a fact I started already:) When would you like it? Pls feel free to mail me at Phelholm@gmail.com...
Hi Brian,
I enjoyed you and Karas masterclass at ILI2007! In my opinion one of the best things that happened at the conf.! I really feel I got some practical advise to take home and start using. So thanks to you and Kara for a really successfull session!
Thanks for the link to all your presentations! What a history of library technology there and a treasure trove. "Web2.0" - so much easier to say and less scary than that old "externally hosted web services".
HI Brian, thanks for the invite here! The "remotely hosted" info. That goes back to 2000 - a web4lib posting asking for info on externally hosted web services for library web sites. You kindly provided a ppt presentation with a ton of resources. Just ran across those messages recently. Seems like donkey's years ago. That talk led to one of my best training contracts - still running after 7 years. So I remember your name with gratitude!
Hi Brian, Andy Kirk here from the RSC South East, as with Slideshare it seems you get to these web 2.0 things before me :-) Feel free to pop by - http://library20.ning.com/group/rscselibrary
Wow George, I'm impressed that you managed to find that photo - I'd completely forgotten about it.
And yes, I think the balloon animal (one might call it a social network of balloons) has trumped Phil's solitary balloon, which is so desparate to meet others that it is touting its name:-)
