Hi Irissurlalune,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
Welcome to the world of Librarianship! Since your have been accepted into library school, you need to decide wether you want to do Public Service, (e.g. work with the public, patrons) or work behind the scenes. I work in Public Service or Reference Services. If I had to do it over again, I would work behind the scenes. It all depends on your personality. Best wishes! Good luck with your studies. It good to see young people are still majoring in Library Studies because most of the conferences I attend are usually middle age white females and males. Ronald Davis
