I am a reference and instruction librarian at K-State's main library.
What is Your Interest in Library 2.0 (not yes or no)
I teach a one-shot class on searching the "Free Web," and am interested in creating a class focused on Web 2.0 sites relevant to finding information and resources. I'm especially interested in sites like Connotea, LibraryThing, Furl, Del.icio.us, and other resource sharing sites.

Do you have to work on buy-in much on 2.0 stuff at your library? For me that is so far the biggest hurdle.
Well buy-in and getting people to use the tech. after we launch it. My library seems to have some phobia about coming right out and telling people what to do.
My email provider at work put your email near the bottom for some reason. I was cleaning out my email today and found it. Thank you for responding. I will be in touch as soon as I answer everyone else that was put at the bottom. Never had this happen before. I guess there is a first time for everything. From now on I will click on End on my email to catch all thoes who got thrown to the end. Good luck with Library 2.0.
Hey anytime you want to get together and brainstorm about using 2.0 technologies in the library let me know.

Next is meebo, del.icio.us, and reinventing the portion of our webpage.
Congrats on the MLS capstone this summer. I just got all my rubrics back and am waiting on the actual inperson review. From what Dr. Thomas wrote of me you would think i was her first grandchild.
