Hi Kathleen,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

Sincerely,
Mike McQueen

Hi Katheleen, would you like to participate in the Library 2.0 Member survey I created for my Research Methods class?! It's not very long, and is mostly demographic and interest information. If you do, I would appreciate any comments you have about how I could improve it. Thanks, Julie

Hi Kathleen, There is so much happening with the 2.0 stuff! I'm almost overwhelmed. However, it seems like academic libraries are lagging in this aspect of technology. I feel like I'm caught between the two. And, in trying to analyze it, the proliferation of 2.0 information is overwheling. There is so much and, it seems, so many librarians are participating. However, there is an an information gap with the mainstream. I guess that's why I am confused and overwhelmed with the distance in communication of what's happening. Anyway, it's nice to communicate with you! Julie

I agree with you that the community aspect is a very important part of Library 2.0. I think that this could greatly increase the patron's relationship with the library and his/her support for the library.
