Hi Lo,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

Hej Lo!

No I wasn't at the IASL conference, though I would have liked to have been. At that time I was in Johannesburg reporting on some action research that I'd done for the International Boys' Schools Coalition on graphic novels. Do you have graphic novels in your library. If so, how popular are they?

Hi Lo, We have a Swedish teacher librarian on our team at school and after the way she has described Sweden, it sounds like such a wonderful place. It's on my 'must visit' list. I've really only got into Web2.0 this year, but have found it offers so much potential for teaching and learning. At present I've selected just a few tools - blogs, wikis and delicious, to introduce to teachers. So far the response has been enthusiastic. In the library, we are using a blog at http://fullybooked.wordpress.com to interact with our students on reading-related "stuff".

Hi Lo. I have been exploring Library 2.0 as a newbie today. Getting lost and having fun. Love your profile photo. I have been using a book review blog with young teens at my last school: www.bookbite.blogspot.com
