The Seomoz site is probably one of the most visited on my PC! It has some good posts on there, especially the Web2.0 list...some great sites listed there. The Web2.0 logo site I don't agree with though. It seems as though some of the logo's are de...

The webcasts from the Library of Congress site are particulary interesting. There is a webcast called "Publishing in the 21st Century" by Rob Rosenwald and Barbara Peters which is really interesting. Good list that you've put together though Maria...

Thanks for the add, Marianne. Your job sounds pretty good I've had a bit of involvement in the last year in training staff on our current library system reports function and I've really enjoyed it. But currently I'm enjoying exploring Web 2.0 the most and seeing how I can utilise different things in my library.

2.0 Listmania

Good post from Josh Catone of the Read/WriteWeb on Keeping Tabs on Web 2.0:

  • eConsultant: Web 2.0 Directory - It appears not to have been updated in nearly a year, and is (hopefully) the only inclusion on this list that's not up-to-date. But because eConsultant's massive list is categorized so well, it is still

Nice Article on Developing a Wiki Community

We like to work together, just for the pleasure of building something. That’s why I believe in wikis, because wikis are a pure expression of our generosity, our passion, and our strange, quirky enthusiasms.

Those crazy kids! New Streaker in the Library Video

The University of Tennessee at Knoxville Hodges Library had quite a bit of excitement yesterday. As of this morning, there are several versions of this posted at youtube. Library pranks are nothing new, but it seems like an upward trend. I certainly see them more frequently at youtube these days. Perhaps I'm just paying more attention, not sure...

Reaching That 9%

How can we get to Library 2.0 if we still have staff members who don't know Web 1.0?

I held a staff training class this morning for basic web mail. Designed for the beginner user, I'm hoping to catch those employees who have fallen through the 'digital divide' and are not communicating through email. Pew Internet Studies say that 91% of the population

Paradise by the (Digital) Dashboard Light

What's your homepage? Is it giving you all the information you want and need at a glance? A digital dashboard is a user interface that, somewhat resembling an automobile's dashboard, organizes and presents information in a way that is easy to read[1]. Using RSS feeds, you can customize your dashboard infinitely. When set as your homepage you can quickly catch up with your email
