- What is Your Interest in Library 2.0 (not yes or no)
- I like to say (only half-jokingly) that I was pleased to find academic libraries in as much turmoil in the spring of 2004, when I started at BC, as they were when I had last worked in academia three-and-a-half years before. “Pleased” because as challenging as change can be it also presents opportunities for continuous learning, for creativity, for exploration, and for experimentation. That's true of what we call Library 2.0, and of other kinds of change as well. Whatever generation you're from, there’s nothing “same old same old” about library work today.

Let them eat chocolate
Our security guard will probably have me arrested, but when I see stressed students lining up at the printers waiting for their term papers to come out, I want to walk down the line passing out chocolates. It's far from having a cafe (under consideration here) but it would be a simple and, I think, appreciated gesture.
