What is Your Interest in Library 2.0 (not yes or no)
I want to explore how to apply the concepts of Library 2.0 to government documents promotion and instruction. Government publications, from all levels of government, are under-utilized. By bringing these resources directly to patrons, using the various tools of Library 2.0, government documents librarians can introduce patrons to a wealth of information resources that they can use in their teaching and research activities, and in daily life.

Preliminary job hunting

I'm currently scanning, and will continue to scan, the various library job websites for opportunities in the Salt Lake City area. I'll be moving there in early November, after I get married. My preference would be to work in an academic setting, but I'm open to other types of libraries, too.

Home stretch to ACRL Conference...

I'm definitely looking forward to the ACRL Conference in Baltimore next week. Library 2.0 topics will be the focus, of course, which will provide me with plenty of inspiration for future projects. I especially hope to get ideas about how to put the spotlight on government documents at my library.
