Dear Anders, One source might be imperial (www.imperial.ac.uk), who has a person called Owen Stephen's who set up the 1st library mash up in london (blog attached). I would suggest ours but its not that web 2.0 savvy.

Sad face of blogging

I was reading through crunchnotes and read about this:-
http://www.crunchnotes.com/?p=377
It seems someone has threatened a blogger, Kathy Sierra (very graphically in many cases). As a blogger I find it really sad. I just wanted to create a meme to see what other bloggers thought of this....

Hi Leslie,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

Sincerely,
Mike McQueen

I too am a sad git with - oh forget it. Membranes, tapes, the usual stuff. Except I'm old enought to have used it all at work!

hehe. i remember the membrane keyboards and the thermal printers... I actually did a Computer Science 16+ (the precursor of the GCSE) and wrote a program on a BBC. Then during my A-levels I realised that science wasn't me (my maths skills are weak) and went on to to Politics... and computers once more became tools to me.

Eep, I have memories of learning some BASIC on a zx81 back in the day, though the first computer I got to play with was an Apple II. The zx81 keyboard was icky.

oh great days.......a tape recorder and dodgy 16k pak on the back and the worst keyboard (for gaming esp.).......

heh -- the ZX81 is to blame for my career in computing too... in fact, I think I still have some spare keyboard membranes kicking around somewhere! :-D

Changed my name back to Chinese one. I've just talked to a colleague from other library and asked how to attract people into the library blog. I don't know how you run it. We have Parra Reads here which I have set it up since April. It took while ...
