Not only is Twitter good for alerting users when a new library blog entry is posted, but also for alerting users about "tech tips", info lit tips, etc. See this example: http://twitter.com/LibrarySecrets

Hi Rebecca,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

Hi Rebecca, would you like to participate in the Library 2.0 Member survey I created for my Research Methods class?! It's not very long, and is mostly demographic and interest information. If you do, I would appreciate any comments you have about how I could improve it. Thanks, Julie

Thanks, and hi back. We are publicising gov docs 2 ways - on a web page called "Selected Law-Related U.S. Government Documents" (http://traynor.uchastings.edu/library/Legal%20Research/Research%20Guides/usgovdocs.htm) and in our blog "The Bloggy Notion." I'm interested in what you're doing to update your web page, as ours could be more interesting.
