Hi Michael,
I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

Sincerely,
Mike McQueen

Hi Michael, At the CALC Summit in Denver last week someone commented that with your blog presence it hardly feels as if you've left Colorado. Thought I'd let you know you're still part of the Colorado Library scene. Rhonda

Hi Michael, better late than never, I found the session on SL very informative. I set up an avatar for myself a long time ago while still in library school, and will have to try to resurrect her.

Jill, some key folks in Ra, Cha, Cha are aware of my local connection as of about six months ago. At the time however, they already filled their schedule. Hopefully the next time around I'll get out there.

As for speaking to SLA, sure, give me a buzz whenever. Schedule pending I'd love it.

Well, I heard from Denice (now my ex wife) via someone else here at the commission. Does that count? ;-)

Don't generally go to ALA as a rule but with the new job @ NLC if they want me to go I will. I will be going to CIL in April and IL in the fall though. You can pretty much count on me being at both of those every year.
