This network is for Library 2.0 Stuff
nextgen librarians
I spoke at the conference yesterday about NextGen librarians and made a conclusion that my Russian colleagues gladly call themselves modern librarians, but don't do anything to correspond to this title. they are still somewhere in the middle of the 20th century. I am totally frustrated...

Hopefully you'll eventually be able to persuade the stragglers that the rewards for changing will be worth any temporary discomfort. Let's hope so.

- Roxann, I think that generation in professions should be measured not by the actual age of a person, but the the time of his work (or times he had come into profession) or the skills and knowledge he or she obtains.
