hey there. yep, i do enjoy cataloging. i am just wrapping up my cataloging and classification course in library school. i did mostly copy cataloging and some adaptive, but never really had formal training in AARC2, so this course has immediately informed my everyday work.

p.s. i'm on facebook, too.

Ken,

Yessir, those are my drawings. I was one of those kids that was constantly doodling in school ( the teachers absolutely loved that). I find that the mental/spiritual focus that drawing requires makes me much more aware of and sensitive to the world around me.

Good luck on your MLIS!

Thanks, Ken. Actually it is just a template available for WordPress. I have a little CSS and HTML but not enough to trick out my site (like you have done here on Ning--nice!).

Sadly, horses have never had a great liking for me, so it would have to be a foot crusade, but I like the way you think.

Thanks for the compliments! Nice to meet another librarian that appreciates the finer points of medieval combat. ;-)

Last I checked, there is still a large and lively RF in Georgia.

Hi Ken,
Sorry, I left the professional a few years ago to manage an IT help desk. Wish you the best. Looks like you have a progressive approach to the profession. : )

Yes, indeed, Ken, we're right across the river. My boys and I moved here from Western New York State five years ago. At this time of year, especially, I'm sooo grateful we did. I grew up in Georgia (went to lib. school at Emory, probably long before your time), and I never got over missing warmth in the springtime.
