Librarians and LinkedIn, a question?

As professions go, librarians have been very quick to pick up on the importance of social networks to society. Greetings everyone.

I am largely writing this to remove the obnoxious"post to your blog" prompt. Also, I am intrigued by the way the communities blog posts can be monitored. As far as I know that is unique to Ning. I have been adding everyone as a friend. If you get a chance please introduce yourself. Thanks.

I see I did a poor job of editing my entry. I meant to say that I intend to learn about Bibliocommons and Linkedin. And three whethers are really too much. Ciao. 1NewWorld

Thanks for adding me. I've seen the name Bibliocommons but I really didn't know what it meant or did. And I've never heard of Linkedin. I wonder whether, since you're into digitization whether you ever considered whether the process might make it difficult or impossible for the blind or low-vision reader to access. 1NewWorld (Kathleen Hegarty)
