I am sure most of you have heard of Family Search. It was formerly known as Family Search Labs and a few months ago, changed its web address. The site has census records and resources from all over the U. S. for FREE. My favorite records are Ohio Death Certificates from 1909 to 1953 because I work in Ohio. Free is a lot better than the $26 fee we have to pay at the Health Department. Family Search
Looks like this group hasn't been active in a while. I just wanted to remind people about the American Memory Project at the Library of Congress. They have pioneer diaries, slave narratives, photos, music, recordings, and lots of other things. I searched my last name and found lots of information--not all of it useful--but I did find out George Washington stayed at the Brinkerhoff Farm. He wrote letters from there.
