To piggy back on that, I assume we'll be given a blackboard log in and link to access our session rooms early to upload slides?
Hi Bekti and Richard,
Yes, I will be sharing the conference slides with you all via email shortly. I will also post links to the slides on this group page.
Links to your sessions will appear shortly on http://www.library20.com/page/presenter-and-moderator-room-links. The rooms will not be available until the day before the conference, but I will share a link to a "drop in" session where you are welcome to practice before Oct. 20th.
Cheers!
Thanks for the training session, Amy. It was very useful.
A recording of today's training session is available at https://sas.elluminate.com/p.jnlp?psid=2015-10-14.0938.M.A53A6E6ECD....
Please be aware that as a viewer of the recording, you will not be able to see all of the moderator level tools and features. Visit the Practice Room to get hands on experience with the Collaborate platform.
Thanks!
I'm having problems with java - the system is reporting that I need to update, but when I click the link provided, the screen is blank. Please advise!
Are you using Chrome? I could only get Java to update in Firefox because the latest version of Chrome doesn't allow Java, etc. anymore.
Hi Rebecca - I'm using Firefox. I'm going to try a few more things tonight after work and see if I can get it to update....
Is there a way to add the conference slides you sent into my PPT w/o having to adjust the theme? I add my slides, but it either removes my current theme I'm using on the slides or adds it to your conference slides. Neither one looks right.
I ended up adding their slides to my powerpoint to avoid that issue.
Thanks Richard. I did it that way too and it just seems like whatever theme is being used in the PPT has to be used on every slide. I can't find a way to change the theme or delete it from just certain slides. All or nothing it seems?
